River swim

No trip to Manoir du Suquet is complete without a sunset trip to the beach at Pont de Vicq near the town of Le Buisson-de-Cadouin. We recommend picking up a pizza on the way through town and a cool drink, parking your car just near the Camping area, and finding your own spot on the grass. The water is delightful, the views of the bridge and hill-side towns. I might recommend some swimming shoes as the rocks are a bit annoying, but it's so worth it. The Dordogne is warm to swim in. The water very fresh and soft. No chlorine or salt here. Just clean and safe water from the Auvergne. Don't go home until the sun sets and you get the golden colours.
